Why do our kids need to struggle to get every single opportunity in this country?
By: Padma Narayanan
Last year we fought for SPM Top Achievers to get matriculation. This
year the same kids came back with CGPA
4.0 despite entering two months
later but failed to get what they dreamed or worked hard for. All they
want is
medicine. Its a bitter and painful truth that many of their
friends with lower grades got it, but they didnt. Brush
aside the
argument that medicine has no future and so on. See this issue as
"denied opportunity" for deserved
students. We want our kids to excel in
education. Where would these kids from average and poor family
backgroubd will go to fulfill their dream at cheaper cost, if they were
not given place in IPTA to do what they want!
